Tonight, I went downtown and took some pictures at the train depot. I wanted to try and get a picture of the train at night. While I waited for a train to zoom by, I took some pictures of the depot and the surroundings. View full article »

I had to re-shoot some stuff for my capstone project because I wasn’t thinking the first time and had my camera on the wrong settings which resulted in low quality images. I had to work late but my friend, Jill, drove around town with me while I took the pictures.

I worked seven and a half hours today. I sometimes say I can’t stand my job, I don’t really know why I do that. I mean, yea, it’s boring but it’s really not all that bad. 2010 is a big year for me. I will be graduating from college and looking for a job to start a career. The next 12 months will be full of changes and I think it will be interesting to see where life will take me. I hope you enjoy looking at my pictures and having a glimpse into my life.

My journey begins in Tulsa, Oklahoma where I rang in the new year. I decided I wanted a picture of the Tulsa skyline to show where I was starting. When I told Dad my idea and asked where he thought would be a good spot he said he wasn’t sure and immediately hopped up from his comfy spot where he was watching all the bowl games and put on his coat. He was ready to go before I even knew he was going to be my chauffeur for the night. The sun was below the horizon by the time we got in the car and we set off for downtown. We drove west of downtown to try to find a high point but were unsuccessful in finding a view not obstructed by trees or power lines. View full article »
