It’s snowing in Norman again. There has been so much snow this winter. I always say “If it’s going to be freezing it better be snowing” because I hate being cold. Watching the snow makes the cold less annoying. View full article »

I bet you can all guess why I took a picture of a red, plastic container. If you can’t guess, it’s because I ran out of gas today and had the pleasure of walking to the gas station and purchasing it. My gas gauge is broken so I have no idea when my tank is almost empty. I usually go by the mileage. According to the numbers I still could have gone at least 20 more miles. Well, I was wrong. When I told Dad my idea and asked where he thought would be a good spot he said he wasn’t sure and immediately hopped up from his comfy spot where he was watching all the bowl games and put on his coat. He was ready to go before I even knew he was going to be my chauffeur for the night. The sun was below the horizon by the time we got in the car and we set off for downtown. We drove west of downtown to try to find a high point but were unsuccessful in finding a view not obstructed by trees or power lines. View full article »
