To celebrate Capstone being over, a couple of my classmates and I went to McNellie’s for $3 burger night. Before going to McNellie’s our professor took us to O’Connell’s and bought a round of dollar domestics. It was great to hangout with everyone. I wish we had become closer friends before now. They are all amazing people and I am honored to have them in my life. View full article »

My Capstone project is finally up! It looks kinda snazzy doesn’t it? The glare on the glass kinda makes it hard to see. I think it turned out alright.

Mom, Dad, and Erin came down to Norman for the opening reception. It was a pretty good success. There was a good turnout and everybody’s stuff looked great. My pictures didn’t fall off the wall either so that’s always good news.

Today was the day to hang my photos for the Capstone show. As you can see, I’m not so great at the measurement thing apparently. It was nice to catch up and have a few laughs now that one big project from the semester is over. We still have a lot of other things to do. View full article »

I had to re-shoot some stuff for my capstone project because I wasn’t thinking the first time and had my camera on the wrong settings which resulted in low quality images. I had to work late but my friend, Jill, drove around town with me while I took the pictures.

For my Capstone project I am including portraits and have found some eager and some not so willing models. I put a cry for volunteers on my Facebook status. Kelley volunteered right away. I’ve known Kelley since 1st grade and we only see each other from time to time. I was surprised that she was so willing to participate. View full article »

March 8th

This is a portion of a photo I took tonight for my capstone. I’m only showing part of the picture for three reasons; this composition is more interesting, I don’t want to give away what my capstone project is going to look like, and because it’s not at all what I wanted when I made the set-up.
